U-MATIC

U-MATIC Transfers

These were among the first video formats to contain the videotape inside a cassette and were introduced by SONY in 1969. The quality of the footage captured on these Pro-sumer tapes was excellent for the time.  U-matic players are now almost nonexistent to consumers so it’s nearly impossible to even watch the footage found on these tapes.

Also, as with all tape formats, U-matic tapes deteriorate over time so it is important to act now before it’s too late to save your memories.

We can transfer all of your old U-Matic tapes to digital formats so they can be enjoyed by you and future generations to come!T

WHEN DO I GET THEM BACK?

Because these tapes are very rare the turnaround maybe slightly longer than most common tape formats. Depending on the size of your collection, most jobs can be ready within 1 to 2 weeks and can be processed quicker for rush orders if arranged in advance (please call us for this service).
