We are excited to announce the arrival of our new, state-of-the-art, 2k film scanner from Germany. This MWA Nova scanner employs the latest technology from a company that has been manufacturing film scanning equipment for over 15 years.
With it we can scan 8mm, Super 8, and 16mm film in glorious 2k (2048×1536 resolution). We can also capture sound in both magnetic and optical formats. It even has a wet-gate, that we can use to improve the scan quality for particularly old and cracked film. It employs a sprocketless system that is very gentle on your film.
With this scanner, Transfer to Digital is now the premiere film scanning service in western Canada for consumer film formats.
